ACTIVITIES

Polo Match 1:50 pm:  The Ticks verses The Cure
Polo may be the oldest team sport in history. Today—2500 years after its birth--it is considered one of the fastest, roughest, and most dangerous sports played.  Once played and enjoyed exclusively by royalty and the elite, it has become a wildly popular premier spectator sport.  Please keep your eye on the ball and remain clear of the sidelines.

Live Music Concert 3:20 pm
Featuring the Bay Area's beloved rock and Motown cover band, Pride & Joy, accompanied by world-renowned violinist Carlos Reyes.   Sit back and relax, dance till you drop, close your Sunday afternoon listening to popular musicians.

Silent Auction 12 noon
Don’t miss the superb selection of items featured in this year’s silent auction.  Many thanks to our generous donors for their contributions. Visit the Silent Auction Tent (located between VIP tent and the stage to explore thrilling travel, fine wines, phenomenal dining, accommodation, beauty, fitness, arts, and entertainment packages—and much, much more.

Hat Parade & Hat Competition 1:15 pm
Hats featured at this year’s Polo for Lyme rival the gorgeous, elaborate concoctions worn each year at the Kentucky Derby.  Hats worn by women attending Polo events are a rare breed of garment: as beautiful as they are practical.  They once shaded the eyes of princesses while they enjoyed Polo tournaments from the sidelines.  Hats flaunt the immaculate taste of the women who wear them.  Ladies: at 1:15, parade your hat and your unique style at our highly anticipated Hat competition!  Judges select a winner based upon creativity, elegance, and seemliness.

Champagne Divot Stomp 2:40 pm
A classic halftime tradition. Fans are invited to swarm the field and tread the torn-up turf .  Horses and mallets do a great deal of damage--spectators will have only minutes to repair 48,000 square yards of playing surface, sip complimentary champagne, and socialize.

Kids Tent 12 noon
Cathy LeMar of  Kids Posh Parties has crafted an afternoon filled with activities to entertain your youngsters: they will design hats to parade during the Hat Competition with mom, play games and compete for prizes all day long.
